Siemens MAGNETOM Avanto 1.5T MRI Deinstallation in Norwich, Connecticut

Digit Systems successfully completed the controlled magnet ramp-down and deinstallation of a Siemens MAGNETOM Avanto 1.5T MRI system in Norwich, Connecticut.

The project began with a controlled ramp-down using the Digit Systems MPS2, followed by careful system disassembly and preparation for transportation. After arriving at the Digit Systems facility, the MRI system was successfully set up and secured before being transferred to another company several weeks later.

Controlled Magnet Ramp-Down with MPS2

Three Digit Systems team members performed a controlled magnet ramp-down using the Digit Systems MPS2 magnet power supply.

The MPS2 provided the control required to safely bring down the magnet current and prepare the system for the next stage of the deinstallation.

Careful MRI Deinstallation

Following the ramp-down, our technician carefully disconnected and disassembled the MRI system.

Special attention was given to the magnet, cryogenic assemblies, cabling, and other critical components to keep the equipment protected throughout the deinstallation process.

Preparation for Transportation

Once the deinstallation was complete, the MRI system and its components were organized, protected, and prepared for transportation.

The system was then loaded and transported from the Norwich facility to Digit Systems.

Successful Setup at Digit Systems

Upon arrival, the Siemens MAGNETOM Avanto 1.5T system was safely received and successfully set up at the Digit Systems facility.

Several weeks later, the system was transported to another company for the next phase of its deployment.
