Digit Systems successfully completed the controlled magnet ramp-down, deinstallation, packing, removal, and warehouse delivery of a Siemens MAGNETOM Espree 1.5T MRI system in Utah.

Careful planning and coordination with a professional rigging team allowed the project to be completed safely, on schedule, and without damage to critical system components.

Controlled MRI Ramp-Down with MPS2

Before the scheduled removal, a Digit Systems engineer performed a controlled magnet ramp-down using the Digit Systems MPS2 magnet power supply.

Completing the ramp-down in advance prepared the magnet for deinstallation and helped reduce risk during the removal process.

Multi-Day Deinstallation and Site Cleanup

From June 23 through June 25, 2026, our engineers systematically disconnected, disassembled, and packed the Siemens MAGNETOM Espree 1.5T system.

Special care was taken to protect the magnet, electronics, cabling, and other critical components. After the equipment was prepared for removal, the work area was cleaned and left ready for the next phase of the project.

Rigging, Transportation, and Warehouse Delivery

On June 26, a professional rigging team moved and loaded the MRI system under the supervision of Digit Systems.

The system was then transported to the Digit Systems warehouse, where it was safely received, inspected, and secured for storage.
